Why This Blog???

My name is Richie Laser and people know me as “Richie The Realtor”.  I was born & raised in Brooklyn, NY and owned a woman’s clothing manufacturing company in NYC for 27 years.
Guess what…. I had enough of the cold weather!  Sound familiar?

My family has now lived in Ahwatukee, Arizona for 12 years.  We lived out in Club West, then in Miralago off of Market st., and currently living in Lakewood. We really got to know the community well when we owned Beyond Bagels on Chandler Blvd and 40^th st.  Through Beyond Bagels we were successful in creating a place for the community in which people got to meet each other.

Later my wife Mary Ann pursued her passion and created a Four Star Italian Restaurant called Mary Ann & Richie’s.  Again creating a great community atmosphere, and GREAT food!

In 2003 I became "Richie The Realtor", serving the families of Ahwatukee.  Ahwatukee is very special to us and I dedicate this Blog to it.

My intention is to provide information either supplied by myself or other members of the community.  It can be information about restaurants, people, businesses, events, jobs, motivational or inspirational.   It can be videos, photos or links to other sites & blogs..  I will provide information regarding Real Estate in Ahwatukee however if another Realtor would like to share information, including listings or open houses, please do.

Why not create another community place to meet each other in Ahwatukee, only this time on the Internet??
